Diabetes: Bharadvajasana - a seated pose that reduces fat and massages the abdominal organs making liver, spleen, pancreas and kidneys function more efficiently thereby helping the diabetic patient.

Heart Disease & Asthma: Poorva Uttanasana, Supta Virasana - in these asanas, the chest expands and the sternum and rib cage lifts upward which relieves the pressure on the lungs. It makes the respiration long and deep helping the asthmatics and improves the flow of blood in the heart and its overall function, helping the heart patients.

Lower Back Pain: Adhomukh Shvanasana, Adhomukh Virasana, Merudrakunasana along with yogic massage.

Sciatica: Vipreet Karani Mudra, Ardha Chandrasana, Supta Hastapaad Angushthasana, Parivrit Hastappad Angushthasana.

Ayurvedic Therapies

Alongside regular Ayurvedic head, foot and body massage, we also offer a range of special Ayurvedic therapies for people suffering from various debilitating ailments and other health conditions like:

Udavartana for reducing body fat: done by two masseurs with special herbal powders applying reinforced friction and pressure.

Various External Oil Bastis -EOB(holding warm medicinal oil on a special part of the body):

Kati Basti (EOB on the lower back): for excellent results in sciatica pain and back pain.

Kukshi Basti (EOB on the epigastric region): useful in hiatus hernia, bloating, gulma.

Janu Basti: (EOB on the knees): very effective in the early stages of Osteo-arthritis and in preventing its deterioration.

Greeva Basti (EOB on the back of the neck): useful in cervical spondylitis, neck strain, stiff neck.

Shirodhara: running a fine stream of warm liquid on the forehead. It is an excellent therapy for diseases connected with the head, neck, eyes, nose, ears and nervous system. It is particularly useful in Vata diseases like insomnia, various mental conditions including depression and in epileptic fits. The liquid used could be oil, buttermilk or milk depending upon the condition to be treated.

Nasya: means nasal administration of medicated powders or liquids for clearing channels in the head and neck region and for nourishing the sense organs.

Netra Tarpana: bathing eyes with medicated oil or decoction to relieve eye-fatigue and various eye-ailments. It alleviates dryness of conjunctiva, blinking of eyelids and enhances colour and visual perception.

Karna Purna: filling ears with warm oil. This helps to treat earache, deafness, tinnitus, headache, lockjaw, giddiness as well as certain diseases of gums and teeth. It also lowers blood pressure, removes burning sensation in the feet and relieves stiff neck.

Basti or Enema: is the most direct way to cleanse the colon. It is particularly effective in Vata disorders. It is both an eliminating and a nourishing therapy.

Navarakiri: deep tissue nourishing fomentation & massage combined - very effective in chronic muscular pain and neuromuscular disorders.

Pinda Sweda: fomentation with a hot bolus of dry medicinal herbs - very effective in rheumatoid arthritis
